Brady Kahle is a big fan of collecting baseball cards. But when his friend and fellow athlete Landen Palatino was diagnosed with cancer, Brady came up with an idea, on his own, of selling his cards to help his friend. Calling it “Cards for A Cause”, Brady’s idea has quickly turned into somewhat of a phenomenon. In the short time since putting his idea into motion, Brady and Landen have been featured on both local news and national websites. Brady has also received many donations including care packages from Upper Deck and Topps along with pieces of sports memorabilia. And to top it all off, recently both Brady and Landen were invited to a pre-game ceremony with the Boston Red Sox on April 21st.
If you would like to help, you can find Brady at his booth on April 3rd at the Chicopee Boys & Girls Club’s Sports Cards and Collectables Show.
